ABOUT RIDDLESDOWN MARTIAL ARTS

Riddlesdown Martial Arts was started by Patrick Walsh and is located at Riddlesdown Collegiate (School). We teach juniors and seniors the Japanese art of Ju-Jitsu, self defence and knife awareness. From people with previous experience to the total novice everyone is welcome.

Riddlesdown Martial Arts is also very active in local schools teaching self defence to staff and pupils.

We regularly deliver self defence classes to businesses throughout the south east and central London.

PATRICK WALSH

Patrick has been training for over 35 years and currently holds the grades of black belt 6th Dan Ju-Jitsu, black belt 3rd Dan Judo and black belt 3rd Dan Karate.

Patrick started training in 1984 at local Ju-Jitsu club, and whilst reluctant at first and taking 2 attempts to actually go into the training hall he is now into his 38th year in martial arts. His first lesson was the start of a life changing experience which helped shape his younger years and still today continues to have an influence in the way he lives his life.

Patrick is committed to teaching and passing on the Japanese traditions associated with Ju-Jitsu, which instils discipline, respect and building confidence. During his career he has won several British Ju-Jitsu titles and numerous Karate accolades. He is very experienced in teaching both adults and children and is also a first aider and fully DBS checked.
